The Roberts Creek Community Association is proud to present Jake’s Gift this Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. l at 2:30 p.m. at the Roberts Creek Hall. Jake’s Gift is a beautiful, memorable play about a WW2 veteran who reluctantly goes back to France and engages in an unexpected friendship. Venues across Canada keep asking for returning performances and we are lucky to have the opportunity to experience it here on the Coast. On Sunday, Oct. 2, One Straw Society is presenting their ninth annual Fall Faire. The Faire runs at the Roberts Creek Hall from noon to 5 p.m. Come celebrate the community’s abundance and enjoy interactive activities, a squash exchange, apple juice press, workshops, live music and lots of kid fun. And join the stone soup potluck from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Suggested donation is $5.
The Roberts Creek Branch of SC Healthcare Auxiliary is holding their October meeting Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m. at the Little Legion to finalize plans for their bake sale. Look for them at the Fall Faire at Quality Garden on Thanksgiving weekend.
