The Roberts Creek Legion is pleased to welcome their new chefs and expanded dinner hours - now open Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
New chefs Mark Smith and son Dylan Clark hail from the Gibsons Legion where their deliciously hearty meals have been popular favourites. Try out the new menu tonight, (Friday) featuring live music by Dave Philley from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
DJ Night with Boom Boom Room Strikes Back starts at 9 p.m. This event features DJs Jason Whyte, Robby Luvdub and YUM YUM. DJ night is $6 for members and $12 for guests with members.
Planting the seeds of collaboration is being held at the Roberts Creek Elementary School at 1 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 25.
Also on Saturday, head out to the Legion again for Dark Comedy Night at 7:30 p.m. featuring Gerry Hills, Sister Mary J, Jenica and David Roche. Admission is $6 for members and $12 for guests with members.
Also on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. is the annual Celebration of Conservation, a fundraiser for the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association at the Creek Hall.
This Sunday, Jan. 26 is another soccer Sunday at the Legion starting at 8 a.m. There is a $2 cover change and a charge of $5 for breakfast for adults and $3 for children.
Next Friday, Jan. 31 is a fundraising dance for Sun Haven Waldorf School at the Creek Hall at 7:30 p.m.For more details email [email protected] or see their website at www.shunhaven.ca.
The Roberts Creek Scout Group has room for more beaver scouts ages five to seven. The group meets on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Haida Lodge at Camp Byng.
