Every week a group of community-minded people comes together to ensure everyone eats.
On May 31, a volunteer appreciation day was organized to thank them for their contributions.
The local Salvation Army brought their food truck to assist and a local Rotarian cooked for all who attended. Not only did they have volunteers to serve (as shown in the picture), but they also served many of the participants of the food bank as the event was held during food distribution.
Our community is full of heart and the Sunshine Coast Community Services Society Food Bank is grateful to all the volunteers for doing good in making lives better for others.
