The Booty Camp Girls enjoyed another successful Food Bank Fill Up fundraiser at Marketplace IGA in Gibsons last Saturday, Nov. 1.

The sunshine came out and so did the generosity of the community. Local shoppers spent a little extra during the day and donated 25 jars of peanut butter, more than 168 cans of soup and specialty items like personal hygiene products, spices, baby food, chocolate and even pet foods.

Bob Hoy and the IGA team were fantastic in allowing for a safe place to seek the food donations. Lynette Legault from Loumidees and local shoppers also deserve thanks for making donations totaling $203. All food and money donations were delivered to the Sunshine Coast Com-munity Services Food Bank in Sechelt on Monday morning.

The youngest helper that day, Levi Griffiths, proves even little helpers can make a big difference.
