The Harbour has a variety of places to dine out including our local Legion, open for lunch and dinner – Wing Wednesdays and Fish and Chips Fridays. Harbourside Friendship – the Thursday Drop-In program at the Pender Harbor Community Hall offers you a Stay Vacation Oct. 7. Hold onto your seat – “Armchair Travel” will take you to an exciting, surprise location. Bring your own packed lunch to enjoy after the trip.
Seniors Initiative carries on with favourite activities at the Hall: Carpet Bowling, Wednesdays, 1 to 3 p.m.; Chair Yoga, Mondays and Fridays, 11 a.m. to noon. Drop in $3.
Madeira Market each Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout October will have treasures from talented vendors for you and yours. Time to start your Christmas shopping. Live music with Rick Kobus goes from 10 a.m. to noon followed by folksinger Geri and guest performers. Artisan vendors – tables are just $10 and entertainers always welcome.
