Locally grown organic produce is coming to Gibsons Landing.
The Fiddlehead Farmers' Market is joining forces with the Gibsons Landing Sunday Market beginning this Sunday, July 3. Both groups are very excited to see the markets come together.
"We are very pleased to welcome Fiddlehead Farmers down to Gibsons Landing," said market manager Maria Pelletier. "The combination of the two markets will create a vibrant atmosphere with many vendors and a range of products."
Also bringing excitement to the market is Gibsons' Music in the Landing which will bring live music to the Sundial Stage next to the market most weekends.
"Music in the Landing is about showcasing local talent in our community and we are very happy to be part of the Sunday Market scene," said co-organizer Linda Williams.
The Gibsons Landing Sunday Market takes place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Holland and Winegarden parks along Gower Point Road. All market products are grown, baked or created on the Sunshine Coast. Expect to find a range of organic vegetables and berries as the season progresses, as well as jams, baked goods and unique artisan products.
