Three Gibsons business women hosted a fashion show at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church on July 13 that raised over $4,000 for the St. Bart’s Food Bank.
Pictured are: Peggy Koenig of Peggy Sue’s, event organizer; Janet Genders, food bank coordinator; Bobbie Howitt of Hair Reflections, event organizer; Joan Lee, food bank coordinator; and Trish Shultz of The Landing Clothing Company, event organizer.
The 100 guests enjoyed a spectacular evening of fashion, fun, raffle draws, door prizes, food and refreshments.
The St. Bart’s Food Bank opened in 2010, and at that time fed 23 people. Today they provide food for an average of 260 people per month.
This year, the Gibsons church will celebrate 125 years since it opened its doors on the Sunshine Coast.
