The 10th annual Pender Harbour Fall Faire is just around the corner.

Join in on all the fun on Saturday, Oct. 2 by jumping on the hayride to get around town and see all the events. Check out the harvest exhibition at the Pender Harbour Legion, with categories such as garden produce, baking, floral displays, and winemaking.

Enter the amateur photo contest, or the students' photo contest. Entry forms are available at Bluewaters Books or the Community School in Madeira Park, and John Henry's in Garden Bay. Students may pick up their entry forms at their school. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Do some early Christmas shopping at the community hall, where 25 artisans from along the Coast will sell their handmade crafts. Enjoy live music as Universal recording artist Gaetan Bergevin provides on-stage entertainment.

There will be lots of kids activities around town too including cookie decorating, pumpkin carving, boatbuilding, the bouncy castle (weather permitting) and games with prizes. Other events include a silent art auction held by the Harbour Artists in the Harbour Gallery (with previews and bidding running from Sept. 25 to Oct. 2), a quilt show and sale at the School of Music, a mechanical cow-milking contest, bulb sales and a special fish and chips lunch at the Legion.

There's something for the whole family to enjoy at this year's Fall Faire, so come on down to Madeira Park for the celebration.
