A new kids’ camp at Chapman Creek Hatchery is scheduled for spring break March 13 to 17, hosted by Sunshine Coast Salmonid Enhancement Society.
Explore the Wild camp provides opportunities for kids aged seven to 11 to develop wilderness skills and enjoy outdoor exploration. Spring break camp will see kids tying flies, fishing in Chapman Creek, hiking, setting wildlife camera traps, and more.
The camp will incorporate a Minecraft theme, where kids will need to find elements and use wilderness skills to complete the challenges of the week. (Minecraft experience is not required to participate.)
