Elva Lockwood was honoured as this year’s Golden Girl, pictured here with Wilma Jones, Gibsons Legion president (left).
Lockwood has lived on the Sunshine Coast for more than 20 years, and is an active volunteer with the hospital auxiliary and the Gibsons Legion.
She is a member of Gibsons Garden Club and had a part in The Beachcombers as an extra and recently in a movie with Zac Effron.
She is known for her determination and zest for life, her kindness and her laughter.
