These two are throwing themselves into the community in a big way, taking on the last-minute planning to organize this year’s Creek Daze! With only three weeks to go, they are already well on their way to creating this year’s celebration of our community, set for Sunday, Aug. 22. They will need your help to pull this off, so let’s show them how this great place gets things done!

Two of our own and a pair from up Coast headed out in the Peterbilt (Engine 1-3) as part of fire suppression operations for BC Wildfire Service this week. Deputy Chief Sean Hatanaka and Lt. Russell Monkman of Roberts Creek Fire are working with Halfmoon Bay Fire Capt. Kody Raymond and firefighter Kaiden DeRoon in the Spences Bridge area. I know I speak for the whole community when I wish everyone involved a safe return.
