On Feb. 17, Persephone Brewing Co. hosted its annual Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Festival. Like all their events, it was a fundraiser for the local non-profit Sunshine Coast Association for Community Living (SCACL).
Funds raised totalled $15,200 ($11,400 during the event, plus sponsorships and donations from Sunshine Coast Credit Union, Investors Group and other local businesses).
Presenting the cheque on March 22 to Glen McClughan, executive director of SCACL, is Persephone Brewing Company’s event coordinator Nicole Wenn.
