A trio of Coaster Car Club members from Sechelt were successful in their assigned categories at the Aug. 20 Greater Vancouver Mustang Association (GVMA) Roundup Show in Langley.
The show is one of the GVMA’s largest with participants from B.C. and the U.S. attending and filling the parking lot at the George Preston Arena. There were over 40 categories at the show, which is primarily for Ford Mustangs, though there are a couple of categories set aside for non-Mustang Ford vehicles.
The three Coaster Car Club members who brought home awards were: Rick Dickson with his 1966 Ford Mustang GT who took First Place in the category 1964 1/2 to 1966 Mustang Coupe - Stock; William Stevenson with his 2004 Ford Mustang GT Convertible who took first place in the category 1999 to 2004 Mustang - Stock; and Rich Chalke with his 2013 Ford Raptor truck who took Third Place in the category Non Mustang Ford - Stock.
