A very generous donation by Bruinwood along with a strong desire to educate tourists and residents visiting their location (that often sees resident bears passing through-hence the Bruinwood name) brought about the idea for the signage. Through community education the bear alliance aims to create a safe and respectful co-existence between our bears, residents and visitors.
