Canada's colourful past is within reach when Nelson author Anne DeGrace reads from her fourth novel, Flying with Amelia, April 11 in Sechelt at the Rockwood Lodge at 1 p.m. and at the Gibsons and District Public Library on April 12 at 1 p.m.

Judy Lynne is keeping her son's memory alive - and helping others - through song and a fundraising legacy. Lynne's son Neil Falkner died on April 12, 2002, in the Canadian Rockies, the result of a back country skiing accident in whiteout conditions.
