Pender Harbour’s annual celebration of marine heritage drew crowds of boat enthusiasts to Madeira Park on Aug. 3. Sponsored by Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society (PHLHS), the event featured beautifully crafted wooden boats, displays of historic marine equipment, kids’ activities, local vendors and community organizations, music, theatre, a fishnet repair workshop, raffle prizes, breakfast from the Lions Club, and a diving exhibition.
