Today, June 19, Weatherhood is forecasting a mix of sun and cloud, no rain for today, a high of 19 degrees, but dropping to nine degrees overnight.
Weatherhood predicts tomorrow will be a little cooler, at 15 degrees during the daytime, with a mix of sun and cloud and an 85 per cent chance of rain overnight. Saturday, June 21, again there will be a mix of sun and cloud and a small chance of showers and a high of 16 degrees.
Sunday, June 22, there is no chance of rain and a high of 19 degrees later in the afternoon, with a slight breeze near the water.
This evening (June 19) the Artique Gallery, located at 6820 Alberni Street, is hosting a summer salon from 7 to 9 pm. The public is invited to stop by for music, art and refreshments.
"This year our member artists will be bringing in select pieces from days gone by," stated a message by the organizers on social media. "An artist's work can change dramatically and/or evolve over the decades. Be prepared for some delightful surprises."
On Friday evening, Springtime Garden Centre, located at 5300 Yukon Avenue, is hosting a summer solstice night market and garden lounge from 5 to 9 pm. Musical guests will be mixing sounds in the lounge, with summer beverages on offer. The garden lounge is hosted by Bloom Therapy.
