Students from qathet School District (qSD) and some private schools gathered at Willingdon Beach on Wednesday, June 18, in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, which officially takes place across the country on Saturday, June 21.
Beginning at 9:30 am, and continuing throughout the day, grades four to seven students took turns participating in Tla'amin Nation traditional culture workshops and activities.
