Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of April 12!
- Kisses to the lovely driver from AJM Disposal Services who does the Friday morning route through Port Stalashen in Ts’ukw’um. He actually gets out of his truck and walks over to our mail room to empty and replace the recycling bin that is full every pick up. Wonderful customer service, for which we are very grateful.
- Huge shout out to Get a move on! Moving company here on the Coast. They moved fragile heavy furniture around tight corners and stairs without any issues! And they followed up with telling me said furniture had been safely placed in its new Vancouver home. Thanks!
- Kicks to those tearing up the shoulders on Gower Point Road with heavy vehicles.
- Shout out to Bonniebrook Industries and Salish Soils for donating their time and bins and helping out the Poplars Estate Mobile Park with our community spring clean up.
- Kisses to Sechelt district gardeners for the lovely spring flowers outside the library
- Kicks to contractors and some locals that blast up and down Redrooffs Road well over the speed limit, and extra kicks authorities that don’t do anything about it.
- Big neighbourly kisses to Lori – the best neighbour ever – she stopped everything and drove from HMB to Sechelt to deliver a spare key when I had locked a set in the car. You’re the best!
- While I understand that people on Kevins Road may not like people using it as a shortcut, it is still a public road and therefore available for everyone to use. Not any different from Largo Road in the Creek.
- Kisses to Kundi and the team at Advantage Dental for transforming the dental experience from an anxiety-riddled dreadful time to a pleasant and calm experience.
- Very grateful printable kisses to Dwayne at Sechelt Signs for your support of the Sechelt Community Associations Forum (SCAF) volunteers as we prepare to present a Town Hall for Emergency Preparedness on May 11.
