Here are your kisses and kicks for the week of July 11!
- June 24, my husband and I were at Salish Soils dropping off garden waste when a very kind and helpful young man, driving a Tapestry Gardens truck helped us drag our garden waste out of our trailer. What a nice and pleasant young man to help a couple of senior citizens having difficulty.
- Kicks to the people that do not pick up after their dogs in Piccadilly field. We walked there yesterday and within 10 steps there was four piles of dog poop. Kids play sports in this field. How weak are you not to pick up after your dogs!
- Kisses to all the fabulous creative youth who have opened the new shop Ripped Open in Sunnycrest Mall. The artistry of those clothes was so imaginative and creative. Worth stopping by to look.
- Kisses to Claytons Heritage Market, Pizza Hut Sechelt, and GAME POINT staff for supporting an afternoon of gaming for youth and young adults of all abilities. It was a blast.
- Kisses to Daniela and the Sunshine Coast Fencing Ltd who gave us a fence post free of charge after hit and run damage to our back gate. Thank you!
- Thank you to Sandra Thomas for your column in which you share balanced and logical views on Canada Day. I fully agree with you that a respectful attitude is best when we decide how to celebrate our great country.
- Kisses and hugs to Mary and Doug who found my purse and then delivered it to my home. I am so grateful for your kindness. Thank you very much! May blessings abound! Anita
- Kisses of gratitude to the enchanted wood elves of Secret Road. The huge fallen trees blocking the trails are all cleaned up, and what a delight it is to safely walk through the forest again. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and is very much appreciated!
- Kisses to Theresa and Benson at the new foot masseuse on Cowrie. Best deep tissue ever. Extremely skilled. Prepare to feel amazing! Congratulations on your new business. Welcome home.
- Kisses to Conor and Natasha at Telus in Gibsons in setting up my new A15 –– it’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such professionalism and customer service. Even the clients waiting behind me felt noticed and appreciated because you took the time to acknowledge them. Your added humor went a long way too. “Koodos” to you both!
- Kisses to the artist who painted all the lovely work in the children’s section of the library, it would be nice if we had a notice board where we could post compliments directly in the library section.
