Kisses and Kicks: Kisses for BC Hydro restoring power following storm

Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!
Kisses & Kicks
Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of March 8!

  • A bouquet of kisses to B & K Gardens and Rain Florist for selling tickets for  the Gibsons Garden Club Feb. 21 event at the Heritage Playhouse. You have gained a few customers as a result of their visit.
  • Kisses to the staff at the Gibsons Starbucks. They are the most friendly and upbeat people who provide incredible customer service. I always leave feeling so happy!
  • Bursting heartfelt thanks to that special person that found and placed my turtle wallet on our windshield. Kind Karma will be your friend!
  • Kisses to the  Sunshine Coast community for supporting the annual Tetrahedron Outdoor Club fundraiser. Your support of the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, year after year is greatly appreciated.
  • Kicks to the woman driving a blue electric car at Davis Bay who felt offended because we took the parking spot she wanted.
  • Kisses to the person who found my glasses and pouch at Fawn market mailboxes and put them on top of newspaper box keeping them safe. Much appreciated
  • Tall Stacks of Kisses to hard working Sechelt Library staff who offer sooo many services to our community through the new pop-up library in Trail Bay Mall while repairs are being done. Books are heavy to move!
  • A grateful bunch of kisses to all the individuals who came out to support Special Olympics‚ local Polar Plunge either in person or with their generous donations. Your support is so appreciated!
  • Kisses to Ada at Swish Apparel for helping me find something I feel beautiful in! Your positive attitude helped me to stay positive too.
  • Kisses to the BC Hydro crews that worked through a cold, wet, snowy night to get our power back on.
  • A forest full of kisses to the kind person(s) who found my phone and placed in a safe spot near the Big Tree parking lot. It fell out of my pocket as my husband and I were finishing our trail run with a sprint to the car. Your honesty and integrity makes our community a better place.
  • Grateful, electric kisses to the BC Hydro, Telus and Eastlink crews, working in unfriendly temperatures, to once again get us back up and running! Thank you!
