Kisses and Kicks: Kicks for dirt biking disrespect, kisses for return of wallet

Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!
Kisses & Kicks
Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of December 15!

  • Kisses to Darrell of the Rona Appliance store in Gibsons for his great advice and taking such wonderful care of our appliance needs…ALWAYS!
  • Kisses to Dave at Canadian Tire for amazing customer service. You saved me headaches and money by suggesting a jump starter kit and patiently answered my many questions!
  • Kisses to the person who returned my AirPods to the Sechelt rec centre front desk when I had left them somewhere in the gym. That would have been a very expensive workout had it not been for you!
  • Dirty kicks to the dirtbikers who ripped by moms, kids and dogs on the Sechelt connector trail on Nov. 28 morning. There are lots of trails for you to ride your dirt bikes on, this is not one.
  • Kisses to the older gentleman always sitting along Redrooffs Road, your friendly daily wave and smile is appreciated.
  • A shopping cart full of kisses to the great staff at Clayton’s Heritage Market, and all the honest folk on the Sunshine Coast from this forgetful shopper for the return of her wallet intact. Thank you.
  • Kisses to Leon at Salish Soils for going above and beyond to find my missing car key in the big bins. Huge thanks!
  • Kisses to the postal clerk in London Drugs one Saturday afternoon. She was cheerful, patient and helpful.
  • Open mouth tongue kisses to Mother Nature… thank you for kicking us. We deserve it.
  • Huge kisses of appreciation to Anne and John (and Genie the dog) your friendship and support is incredible – thank you!
  • Kamikaze roundhouse kicks to people still using animals to turn a profit. Our shelters are already overwhelmed enough without the addition of irresponsible, greedy, backyard breeders. Adopt don’t shop! P.S. I ripped all of your pamphlets down in my hood.
  • Kisses to the staff at the emergency department who work incredibly hard under very awkward conditions – you are all wonderful, patient and caring people. Thank you!
  • An earful of thanks to the kind soul who found my stray AirPod on Inglis Trail and hoisted it to a stump.  A small gesture that made my day!
