Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of March 17!

  • A warm thank you and heartfelt kisses to the gentleman who helped a young lady at Independent who could not remember her PIN number. You “unfrazzled” her with your generosity of paying for her groceries. She appreciated you and so did I. You brought back my faith in our small community.
  • Kisses to Spicer who has organized so many amazing events for the Roberts Creek community. You got the Hall renovated and regularly bring in amazing acts – thank you!
  • Kisses to Colleen at Trail Bay Source for Sports who helped me find the perfect bikini for my body type and made me feel beautiful in it. Without her encouragement, I would have walked out empty handed and frustrated.
  • Heartfelt kisses to all the wonderful people from Rotary who made 1,300 valentine cards for the healthcare professionals who look after us on the Coast. The beautiful caring cards touched all our hearts!
  • Heartfelt kisses to Gibsons Florist for consistently beautiful flowers. I have received three absolutely stunning arrangements recently [anniversary and a ‘big’ birthday]. Thank you so much!
  • Kisses and hugs to three wonderful gentlemen employees at Gibsons Building Supplies, Sechelt. They went out of their way to help this elderly woman with a finnicky piece of wood-cutting. Your helpfulness and kindness were MUCH appreciated.
  • Toolboxes (4) full of ksses to Dave Lamb, Gibsons’ Home Hardware for once again giving us a considerable discount on all the items we bought to donate to SCCSS for their transition homes for women!
  • Lots of kisses to GBS/Julie Reeves for donating some tools to supplement our donations to SCCSS for their transition homes for women!
  • Kudos and thanks to Cindy Kisser. Whenever we have sent her a note wanting to be included in one of her Halfmoon Happenings column, Cindy has always been responsive and supportive of our marine search & rescue activities. Bravo Zulu Cindy!  With gratitude, RCMSAR Station 12, Halfmoon Bay.
  • Unending kicks to a store that stopped the simple receipts donation program that benefits organizations who need help more than ever before.
