Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!

Our weekly check-in with the community. What good deeds (and bad deeds) did you see this week?

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of January 27!

  • Kisses to the forest fairies who left behind a perfectly cut cedar log to sit on while working in the garden. Thanks, you made my day!
  • Thankful kisses to Dino at the Old Boot Eatery who made sure of BCCA help to get our car going while we enjoyed our dinner.
  • Many thanks and hugs to all the good people who helped me thru a very difficult time last year.
  • The St. Barts Food Bank is so grateful to the Hopkins Branch of the Sunshine Coast Health Auxiliary for their generous donation of $500 worth of grocery gift cards!
  • Kisses to the gang at Park Road Automotive for making the extra effort to get my vehicle safe to drive to the Okanagan last week. Their extra effort was required as there was more to fix than planned for and they got it all done in time. Roads were a challenge but my car worked well. Thanks folks!
  • Infinite Kisses to the staff at the Sechelt Library. Thoughtful encouragement as well as top notch library assistance. What a team of generously spirited people.
  • Carloads and carloads of kisses to the wonderful people at OK Tire in Sechelt who graciously and efficiently resolved my four-month snow tire nightmare.
  • A community of grateful kisses to Coast Reporter for graciously sharing two pages of Kisses/Kicks in the Dec. 23 edition, what a gift, thank you.
  • Kisses to Sam, who was passing by Harmony Hall, noticed that the eaves were blocked so came into the building, grabbed a ladder and cleaned them out.  On behalf of all the members of the Gibsons Seniors Society, as many thank yous as we have accumulated in years of age (and that is a lot!)
  • Kisses to the dog walkers who are aware of and follow the bylaws of our off-leash trails so that everyone can enjoy them. Kicks to the vast majority who don’t seem to care. Kisses to Anne, the Sechelt Bylaw Enforcement Officer, who is working hard to improve this.
  • An amazing thank you to Linda at London Drugs in Gibson for tracking me down via a cousin in Richmond to return an address book left behind in the store! Great sleuthing!!
