Powell River RCMP are opening one-lane alternating traffic on Highway 101 between Tla’amin Nation and Lund after a power line pole dropped on the highway.
Police are asking everyone to proceed slowly and cautiously as there is a crew on scene, according to a media release from Powell River RCMP.
Highway 101 had been closed between Tla’amin Nation lands and Lund. According to the media release from the RCMP, the power line pole was down on the highway due to a structure fire.
Police and fire crews are on scene, the release stated.
