Library holds Living Tree fundraising campaign

Gibsons and District Library Foundation
Library
The 2019 Gibsons and District Library Foundation Board and library staff taken Feb. 7 at the fundraiser launch.

The Gibsons and District Public Library is in dire need of a new state-of-the-art multimedia presentation system. It will support new and ongoing digital literacy programs and also enhance the library’s ability to provide the best possible presentations, readings and audience participation experiences for its patrons of all ages.

The goal is to reach $6,500 within the next three to four months. Achieving that goal will only happen with the support of the community one loonie or toonie at a time. No donation is too small and none too large. Suggested donations range from $25 to $125.

Also, donors are encouraged to place their personalized leaf on the Giving Tree. Tax receipts will be provided for any donations of $25 or more. Donations are being accepted at the library’s circulation desk.

The GDLF’s new board is committed to the Foundation’s revitalization, growth and continued long-term support of the Gibsons and District Public Library. If you would like more information about the Foundation, email [email protected]
