Harvest Fest at the Botanical Garden

More than 600 people enjoyed the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden’s Harvest Festival on Sept. 1. Kids of all ages played lawn games, fashioned fancy hats, explored the veggie garden, checked out the sun through solar telescopes, munched on Lions Club burgers and dogs, created natural weaving in the trees, danced to lively tunes from dj little d, chatted with the woodworkers and weavers, asked questions at the master gardeners table, and strolled the grounds with friends and family. Thanks to all the many volunteers who make this annual event possible. See more photos in our online galleries at www.coastreporter.net/photos-videos
