Want politicians to ‘work together’

If it were up to students, West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country would be sending Green candidate Dana Taylor to Ottawa. The results of Student Vote Canada 2019, which took place the week before the election, were released Tuesday morning.

Liberals re-elected as minority government

The Liberal, Conservative and Green leaders spent some time in West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country in the final two days of the federal election campaign.

For a lot of North Shore residents, voting is already done and dusted, even though Election Day isn’t until Monday. More voters than ever cast their ballots in the advance polls which ran from Oct. 11 to Oct. 14 across the three North Shore ridings .

Childcare, beer and downtempo music signalled a focus on young people at the all-candidates forum held at Roberts Creek Hall and organized by Voice Lab for voters under 40 casting their ballots in the Oct. 21 federal election.
