After what Environment Canada predicts will be a partially cloudy day on the lower Sunshine Coast, the next five are forecast to feature full on sun.
That authority has moderated the high temperatures it had been calling for, with the mercury topping at at 21 degrees C today, and the outlook for the days to come showing highs of 27 degrees, (rather than to 30 degree readings it had included on its website outlook yesterday). Those anticipated very warm days are expected to be followed by clear and much cooler nights, with overnight temperature readings expected between 11 and 14 degrees C through Sunday.
Weatherhood is predicting a daytime high thermometer reading of 23 degrees today for Sechelt, with the heat ramping up and reaching 30 degrees by Sunday. The high temperature it recorded yesterday in Sechelt was 23.2 degrees and over night lows were 11.8 degrees in Sechelt and 12.6 degrees in Gibsons.
