But it is not just the heat, it's the humidity that has the potential to make the coming days seem unseasonably warm. Environment Canada reports a Humidex reading of 31 is expected for the second day in a row, with a similar reading expected for tomorrow. It's website is calling for a 30 per cent chance of showers near the Coastal mountains this afternoon and for a risk of thundershowers in those areas by late afternoon on Aug. 29.
