Sunshine Coast weather: May brings the heat

Spring lives up to its nature as the Coast gets another beautiful break from the rains
May 2nd is expecting to see temperatures as high as 17 C in Sechelt.

It's a great time of year to be a duck.

After a few days of rain, the Sunshine Coast got a good dose of sunshine today as the sun broke through the clouds for the day.

Be sure to get out and enjoy the weather while it lasts, Weatherhood predicts that the clouds and rain will be back in town tomorrow. 

Temperatures are expected to be as high as 17 C in Sechelt around 5 p.m., and 15 C in Gibsons. 

Despite the rain returning tomorrow, temperatures are expected to stay high, around 17 C.

Environment Canada predicts winds reaching 20 km/h tomorrow morning blowing from the southeast, with gusts reaching 40. 

While it may feel like summer came early, on this day in 2016 Environment Canada recorded temperatures of 26.4 C in Sechelt.
