Despite a small chance of rain, Weatherhood predicts it should be another sunny weekend.
As of 9:00 a.m.they record temperatures at 20 C in Sechelt and 22 C in Gibsons. These numbers should stay relatively stable throughout the day, with a high of 24 C later this afternoon.
The sun is expected to stick around for the weekend, along with patches of clouds.
Environment Canada, however, advises there is a chance for a thunderstorm throughout the day. Further, they predict the clouds will move on by Saturday wheras Weatherhood calls for the higher chance of rainfall on Sunday night.
It may be a weekend to being an emergency raincoat with you to the beach - be sure to soak up the last few weeks of Summer.
