Heather Till Photos - Oct. 5, 2019 The Rotary Club of Sunshine Coast Sechelt held its annual Whisky Tasting event at Blue Ocean Golf Club on Saturday, Oct. 5. The event, with MC Dr. Paul Dhillon, featured five unique whiskies from Scotland paired with a six-course menu crafted by James Covell and his team from Plethora Fine Foods. Piper Craig Buchanan honoured the whiskies with the traditional piping-in, assisted by members of the Rotary Club. Darryl Lamb of Legacy Liquor Store presented each whisky with its history and tasting notes, and Ed Hill hosted a lively auction of choice bottles. Funds raised support Rotary projects on the Sunshine Coast and world-wide.
