The circus-like atmosphere in the B.C. Legislature has returned. Last Thursday, in record time, all 79 MLAs gave themselves a hefty pay raise and a new pension plan. It would have boosted salaries by 15 per cent.

To grant or not to grant a community forest licence, that is the question. I say grant it and give us a chance to decide what goes on in our forests, reap some of the financial rewards and save our watersheds.

It's decision day on the Coast tomorrow. Nov. 19 is municipal election day in B.C. It's an important day to decide who will be making the decisions at the government table and in the school board room for the next three years.
