Editor:
I’m a grandmother, part of a generation that always complained that young people did not get involved in running our country.
Those older senior candidates, who fit in a category of “been there, done that” should step aside and make way for our children to run their towns — so their children will enjoy life.
If we don’t allow young voices to be heard, they will leave the Coast, and all that will be left is a retirement community of old disgruntled farts.
Even if the young generation don’t succeed, and meet our standards, however unreasonable they might be, at least they were given a chance to make a difference (their term, not mine).
And they may surprise us all and turn the Coast into a thriving lifestyle.
