As former Seawatch residents, we sincerely want to thank our neighbours, friends and Sechelt residents who not only helped us to pack up and take our belongings to storage, but also helped us move into our present residence.
Our movers from Gibsons, Easy Does It, were outstanding! Since the mayor and council changed the evacuation date and ability to access our property, Easy Does It put their crew on standby and called us every day to inquire about the final date and moved us in the nick of time.
Our heartful thanks also go out to those who provided food and beverages, the couple who found us a place to live and especially friends and strangers from Gibsons who drove through two snow storms and icy roads to help us. Unfortunately we can’t name all the wonderful volunteers by name because we were numb and in shock and frankly not much registered at the time.
Finally we want to say thank you to everyone who gave us hope, where previously there was none!
