We already have a roaring art car tradition in North America. Why not art boats here on our Coast? The painting of abandoned boats is an international tradition, enlivening waterfronts in various locations around the world. Most of us probably didn’t know that. We’re probably not aware of the artists’ intention to install some of these painted boats across Canada. What we don’t know shouldn’t sink Gord Halloran’s Abandoned/Transformed project before it gets a chance to float.
