I thought no meant no.
If the SCRD had no intention of taking no for an answer regarding yet another loan, why even ask? To give the appearance of a democratic process? To fulfill some legal obligation before they do it anyway? It’s awfully reminiscent of when Sechelt asked residents if they wanted to fund a new municipal hall. The result was no but they did it anyway.
I find it frustrating to know if you take the time to jump through all the hoops to vote no on the AAP (not an easy process) you KNOW they’re not taking NO for an answer.
