Editor:
I do not agree with your April 5 editorial “Indoctrinated for the Green New Age.” I don’t think my teacher is indoctrinating me and my classmates. Actually, I believe our teacher is fighting for us and the rest of the world by teaching us that we shouldn’t just sit down and watch the world slowly die from our beds with a book in our hands.
Climate change is a terrible thing and I admire that people are standing up to try and stop it. I do not want to live on another planet but we don’t have another possible planet to live on. It seems that your editorial was meant to discourage me and everyone fighting to stop climate change. So, tell me, do you want the world to die or not?
