Editor:
A young lady wrote last week that she wishes to come home to the Coast. She also encouraged growth in the area.
Although I agree in principle, we have a desperate problem to face before any growth can happen: water supply.
I propose that the public be informed on a weekly basis, through the newspapers at least, of progress being made on the steps to achieve this.
For instance, 55 new homes on Havies Road cannot be accommodated at our present water supply rate.
What is being done? We deserve to know.
