One hundred and fifty litres per car? I wash my car with a five-gallon bucket of recycled bath water that is towelled off immediately. The dirty water goes on the flowers. If necessary, my car does not have to be washed during the summer months. I also capture a basin of water in the kitchen sink each day and use another basin full for dishes each evening. These are both emptied on the flowers; as is the two or three buckets worth bailed each night from the bathtub. There is no need to waste or run out of water.
