I can't imagine the impact the recent fire in Lower Gibsons has had on those directly affected. From the description provided on what happened that day, it is truly frightening to realize the result could have been much different and truly horrific.
It would be easy to not see any bright light in all of this, but I would like to congratulate the father who took his son to the RCMP when he realized he had pertinent information. A parent's nightmare, but the decision was not only right, it was a demonstration of love a father has for his son. Hopefully the father's actions will guide his son back on track.
Well done, sir, whoever you are.
