As a health-care worker doing my best to follow the COVID-19 guidelines, I found it disheartening to see six of my “weekender” neighbours at their cottages this weekend. Despite Dr. Bonnie Henry and even the Queen’s request for people to stay home, they chose to ignore this. They have put the community at risk for their own wants. With this total disregard for sound advice, we need a ban for non-permanent residents of the Sunshine Coast to travel on the ferries.
Shame on you. Stay home.
