Halfmoon Bay transit users, rejoice! It seems there is an unintended consequence of BC Ferries’ temporary hourly schedule. There are now a modest number of vastly improved connections in Sechelt between the No. 4 Halfmoon Bay bus and the No. 90 express bus that goes to and from Langdale.
While it lasts, there may never be a more convenient opportunity to get the ridership up and justify a better bus schedule to connect the ferry with Halfmoon Bay. I strongly urge Halfmoon Bay residents to go green and use this service.
BC Transit says we may get hourly bus service in 2018, but for a limited time it is possible to travel between Halfmoon Bay and downtown Vancouver in under three hours.
