On Tuesday morning, Dec. l, outside Marks in Sechelt, a woman aged around 40 and driving a compact car had her phone on her steering wheel and was texting.
She obviously did not see my husband walking back to his truck. Fortunately, he jumped out of the way as she drove off. He was so shaken that he did not get her licence number.
Do you not know that killing someone with your vehicle is illegal, as is texting while driving?
