The following letter was sent to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other party leaders through the Sierra Club with a copy to Coast Reporter.
To whom it may concern:
As a citizen of Canada, resident of B.C. and a concerned citizen, I will state my complete opposition to the Enbridge pipeline transporting oil.
The dangers are too many, the risk to damage our environment irrevocably too great. It is inevitable there will be an oil spill, or many oil spills in the dangerous waters proposed.
Do not allow this to be built.
Thank you for looking at long-term effects, by stopping the pipeline, instead of short term gains in this matter.
