We enjoyed reading John Gleeson’s editorial of last week, “Lack of urgency characterizes four-year term.” We found it to be a refreshing change, an unbiased assessment of both the previous and present Sechelt councils.
My question (one of many) is would we rather have a mayor and council, like our previous mayor and the majority of his councillors, who were on steroids (performance enhancers) or do we want a mayor and council, like our current mayor and most of his councillors, whose productivity on council is as if tranquilized by a paralytic agent?
In my “humble” opinion, though I don’t wish to see time fly, November 2018 can’t come soon enough!
