I’m happy to read that this year’s Funtastics show was so entertaining. I wish I had attended. Telephone operator Ernestine Tomlin is one of my favourites.
Speaking of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In, many who listen to the Parksville radio station The Lounge don’t know that it’s Laugh-In’s hand-on-the-ear announcer Gary Owens who voices their station identifications: “Music with style. The Lounge.”
