In speaking with a staff member, we told her of our concerns, which are as follows.

We do live in a wildlife area, and therefore, I do not think it is a good idea to have small to large farm animals. It would attract even more wildlife and more killings would occur on both sides, unless the farmer installs a proper fence and electric fencing and brings the animals inside a safe building for the night.

I would strongly disagree with residential backyard raising and keeping of chickens and bunnies. Most people have no idea how to look after the needs of such animals.

I think the farming of vegetables, fruit and so on is a great idea, but again a law should be in place for proper fencing to be installed to ensure this type of farming is done properly to keep our wildlife safe from yet another killing spree.

We do not want to hear that wolves are being trapped in a cruel leg hold trap because they killed a lamb or a sheep!

With a law in place for proper fencing and electric fencing, and a safe building to keep the farm animals in at night, horrors like these do not happen.
