Re: “Simons ‘resigned’ to Site C decision,” Dec. 15.
The NDP are so bereft, all they can do is constantly blame the Liberals and endlessly reiterate that Dr. Weaver was there when Site C was first considered. All the issues our MLA mentions were certainly there at that time. Had the Greens been in power at that time, those issues would have had evidence-based decisions and Site C would have been cancelled without further progress.
Not only the big corporations got their way with our premier’s decision, but also the unions wanting their temporary big-paying jobs. It seems to us that only fools would continue a project proven to be unnecessary as well as financially and environmentally disastrous on completion.
